The Fairtrade mark has been around for 25 years. Its distinctive blue, green and black shape on a product’s packaging guarantees that no one has been exploited in getting that product to our shops.

Reigate Fairtrade Steering Group is delighted to announce that Reigate has been awarded Fairtrade Community Status by the Fairtrade Foundation. This internationally recognised award is given when a town is able to demonstrate that five key goals have been met, showing support for Fairtrade from their local council, shops, businesses and cafes, and a range of community and faith groups.

The group continues to promote Fairtrade in the community and in February will be supporting Fairtrade Fortnight 2021. This is being celebrated with a series of virtual events and online competitions organised by local Fairtrade community groups around the country.
