FOOD & DRINK
Nestled in the heart of Dorking, husband-and-wife team Basil and Susan have been serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon teas with a smile since 2016.
This is a rather special café with a historian twist, celebrating history in the ancestral home of William Mullins, one of North America's Pilgrim Fathers, the coffee shop sits within an iconic building in the heart of the old quarter of Dorking on West Street.
There is no better place to experience the comfort of home-to-home dining, and if you suffer from a sweet tooth, their traditional home baked cakes and scones can be enjoyed with a cup of Mullins' specially blended, freshly ground coffee or a pot of tea.
They have also captured the Mullins story through their cakes and cookies box collection. Susan found the love for baking as a child, and it is this traditional baking style which has really come to life at Mullins.
Using her top-secret recipe, their famous Ginger cake, Date & Walnut Cake and Tahini Cookies are now flying off the shelves! Packed in a beautiful Mayflower gift box, with the Pilgrim, William Mullins story printed inside. It makes a special gift or simply spoil yourself with your favourite!
Mullins cakes, cookies, cups & saucers and special blended coffee ground or beans all available to be purchased online and shipped all over the world!
Best coffee shop in town
We love our visits to Mullins. Might be one of the smallest cafes in Town, but boy o boy its huge in personality. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Coffee is great and the food wonderful. I put on pounds just looking at the delicious cakes! You can eat in or grab a takeaway.

Anyone can fry up a couple of eggs, bacon, but here they do it in style! The staff are the most friendly you will meet, cakes, and coffee to die for (a piece of Italy in Dorking) and the history... What history! Priscilla, the youngest child is one of the founders of the United States of America! A must see, full your boots.
